I realize we all have busy lives; but I promise that the 23 minutes required to watch this video will not be 23 minutes you’ll wish to have back. Some portions will serve to enlighten you. Other portions may prove embarrassing. On some level, big or small, the video describes everyone presently alive, for no one is immune to diseases of the mind. Toward the end, it offers the Nietzsche quote: “Those dancing were judged insane by those who couldn’t hear the music.”

Wow. I know we all know the science behind how screens control us but to hear it all explained is still so insane. I always say that I am controlled by a red dot notification. It’s so “Pavlovian” in that I’m conditioned to stop what I’m doing to read a text/answer a voicemail/click on an email to shop a 30% off sale at GAP…The thing is though that I allow it. I follow the algorithms because I’ve allowed myself to follow!
