…Where Credit is Due

Dear Michael,

Stop what you’re doing, go to a mirror, look into it, and say thank you: Thank you for all the hikes, bike rides, and runs. Thank you for all the times you shook off the stress and adversity life unfailingly offers and exercised your way to a clear head. Thank you for understanding what to, and what not to put in your body. Thank you for sacrificing hedonic pleasures in the moment and sparing a thought for your future self. And last but not least, thank you for the life partner you chose, for without her, our ride would have been less loving, less enriching, and a helluva lot shorter!

  1. Well Shawn, it’s looks as if you didn’t get out of it alive. Life is funny that way. Fear not though. You may not have made it 100 years in the mortal world but it is not the end, only the continuation of existence. Try to make better choices in the next journey.
